A short history of Shakaland Technical College (PTY) LTD

After our contract expired as lecturers at an FET College, We got together and decided to open a private technical college in the area of Kwa Dukuza. Several meetings were held to establish the new college. It took two years of intensive and thorough planning and organizing to bring our new college to fruition. It was decided that the name of the college will be Shakaland Technical College (PTY) LTD. Later we managed to lease a premises at 72 Colenbrander Street, Kwa Dukuza to be used as Shakaland Technical College.
